Viva La Diva - 122

This is one coat. Viva La Diva has several possible one coaters. Awesome. 122 is a dark blue and shimmery polish that dries a little matte. Nice depth and all, but this is too dark for me.

Viva La Diva - 70

Blue and green glitter from Viva La Diva. I did one, or possibly two coats on top of Trind - CC136 (I really need to make these posts right away...) to make it a little more fun. This survived 2 days of work very well. Good job with no top coat.

Now, this is a Christmas polish. I didn't mean to go christmassy. Not yet. But this sure is a very christmassy green. Was this one or two coats? I'm not sure. But this is a possible one coater. I might have done two coats, but I think one was very good too.
This bottle had a very long and weird cap. I was very afraid I would tip the whole bottle over because it is so long and slim.

Viva La Diva - 27

Ok, I did quite a few swatches 2 days ago. Now, let's see if we can remember anything about them.
This is a Viva La Diva mini polish. It's light blue and it has silver micro glitter in it. I think it was 2 coats and another coat would have been nice. But I never actually wore this in public, I just swatched it. Therefore I decided to not use so much polish.
This is pretty and all that, but I am not feeling it. So I'm getting rid of it. I will give it as a gift to the next person who buys a polish from me. I currently don't have any polishes for sale (I put them all up on Tradera), but there will be in the future.

Tired! And I slept for like 11 hours last night. But I was mostly making up for lost sleep, because I only slept for 2 hours the night before that.
I have now finished Lost, season 3. Only 3 to go, but I don't have them. Maybe Casablanca on Sveavägen has rentals?
I started reading On Cats by Doris Lessing (hey, look at me, I'm reading Nobel prized literature). Cute little book.

Viva La Diva - 79

The first Viva La Diva I have ever tried! Yay for new brands!
This is 3 coats. Lovely pink shimmer polish, with some silver shimmer in it too. An old man at work liked it a lot. Some girls have blue nails, that's really ugly, he said. Cute.
This polish dried really fast. Thank God for that, cuz I was in a total hurry earlier today. I actually painted my nails at work because I only had time for one coat before work. In between customers I painted one nail here and one nail there. I don't think anyone noticed.

When shopping for giveaway polishes I couldn't help myself... I have never tried Viva La Diva before. I never thought their polishes looked interesting. But now I found loads of interesting polishes. Nubar - Hologram Glitter

Of course this sparkles more in real life. I did 2 coats on top of Reef Green and on my pinky I have 5 coats on a naked nail. You could get away with 3 coats if you don't have a seriously discoloured nail.
I really need to make a comparison with this and China Glaze - Fairy Dust. They are both really awesome. I can already say that this is more dense than Fairy Dust.

Nubar - Reef Green

2 coats.
When I saw this in my hand I thought "and why did I buy this?". On my nails I feel the same way. It's a pretty green, but I don't like this particular shade on my nails. Too light. A customer said it was an alert polish. Okay... I guess that's good.

Nubar - Twilight Kiss

Different artificial lights, again. 3 coats. Very weak shimmer, again. You don't really see it unless you look closely. I'm not sure about the shade. Grey/purple? I remember thinking purple mist about this shade when I was at work today.
I'll have to go through those new Nubars this week, because I'm not at home atm and the only polishes I have here are those new ones. I hope you don't mind Nubar spam. The problem is that I am staying where I am for 3, maybe 4 days and I only have 2 more Nubars. Uh oh.

Nubar - Sweet Dreams

In different artificial lights. 2 coats. Very weak shimmer, it doesn't really show on the nail at all. But in the bottle it was definitely visible. Weird shade. Purple, mauve, brown? And even pink in some lights. Weird shade. I like it when it looks pink or purple. Surprise! ^^

OPI - Fresh Frog Of Bel Air

In order to make Jade Is The New Black more fun I put on some Fresh Frog of Bel Air. The first polish I try from The Muppets collection. One coat. I don't have top coat on, but I would really need it. Not much shine going on here. But it did make JITNB more fun. I am, however, not blown away. I should try this on its own.

OPI - Jade Is The New Black

2 coats. I remember when this first came. I didn't like it, because I still hated cremes back then. Now I like cremes and I finally got this popular polish. I put it on and...I'm not thrilled. I don't like this particular shade of green. It's too dark. Woodland green. I don't mind the colour itself, but not on my nails. It's just not me.

Ruby Kisses - Electric Purple

One coat. But is this really neon? It's not that bright. And purple? Hm..berry purple then. Not purple purple. But hey, who am I to complain? 39 SEK for 15 ml isn't bad. I saw 2 or 3 other neon polishes from Ruby Kisses, if anyone is interested. At eleven.se that is.

Eyeko - Chi Chi

My very first Eyeko. This kinda looks like it is for kids, but who cares!? The bottle also kinda looks like it is a lip gloss and not a nail polish. But isn't it cute? With a poodle and everything? And it even says "For girlie nails" on it. I like, I like.
Anyway. I put this on top of the previous polish Frosh, because I wasn't sure this would be opaque. I only put on one coat. Perhaps it would not be impossible to make this opaque. The base is a (weird) milky pink and the pink glitter is fairly dense. I did two coats on my naked toe nails and it doesn't look too bad. 69 SEK at eleven.se. Very cute polish indeed.

A Beautiful Life - Frosh

I found a better light source, nice. Unfortunately it's not in my own home...but at least some of my pics will be better now.

Anyway. 3 coats. Lovely pink shade with darker pink shimmer, or maybe even purple shimmer. I'm not sure. Something in between. Nothing too special, but I really like it.
The bottle is interesting, it has no info on it, what you see in the pics is all there is. So I have to go online to find info about them. I thought I'd talk a little about the brand, since it's all new to me and I can't say I have seen it around on other blogs. It's eco friendly. 3 free, based on soy, has oils and natural stuff in it instead of chemicals. At eleven.se you can get a bottle for 119 SEK. Other than that you can probably check out their homepage abeautifullife.com. $12 there, it seems. American brand (duh). Sounds pretty good to me!

PS. As always I have not used top coat, so this polish is really shiny on its own. DS.

Now, should I nap for an hour or fight my sleepiness for another 6 hours? I had problems with sleeplessness last night. I've had that for a week or two now. Not that I normally go to sleep early, but it has been particularly bad lately. Boo!

Why did I buy this? I knew it wasn't good. Why can't I learn from other's mistakes? Sigh...
So, as you can see, this polish sometimes doesn't even shatter/crack. And it's sheer. Don't buy it. Get a gold crackle polish from someone else instead. I am. I'm gonna go out and get crackles from IsaDora.

Color Club - Perfect Mol-Ten

My first Foiled polish. I mean, from the collection Foiled that is. Lovely green! This is a possible 1-coater, but I did 2 coats. I found it a wee bit difficult to not get streaks. But it's not a huge problem. And yes, my nails are short. I broke off my thumb nail yesterday...very far down. So both I and you will have to live with this length for some time now.
